Wetlands in warm ecoregions - methodologies

So far, few studies have considered quantitative effects of climate change on riparian vegetation. There is a need for this quantification to be able to forecast changes in species composition and diversity of these potentially highly vulnerable ecosystems in future.

In REFFESH we will elucidate how riparian vegetation responds to summer drought, and identify possible indicators for the effect of climate change on wetland systems. Suggested methodologies for will be presented shortly.
